The wonderful, wonderful spoonbills from Procon/CollectA :-D

For almost a year my "Staircase-shelf" has shown almost only tinkers .
But a few days ago I decided to let the horses rest a wile and replace them with some wildlife, - and the choice fell on CollectA.  

With a mixture of sadness and joy the exchange took place, and quickly there was only joy left

Especially the spoonbills made me happy ! They were some of my first CollectAs, and I still find that they are among the best models I own  
It surprised me that I could not find a walkaround in this forum, - so here they are

PS : There are other wonderful birds from CollectA, but the Albatross is already on another shelf, and I did not want to crowd this one

Using CollectA's in shelf is surely a warranty of a great display!
I believe these spoonbills were one of the first figures convincing a lot of Schleich focused collectors to start considering CollectA figures in their collections. I remember also, when I could be of help to our friends once CollectA was quite hard to find, this was surely one of the figures I've sent to a bigger number of members on forum. Especially the bird with spread wings. It also brings to my memory the time when Harriet was quite active onf forum and I was [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Really good times!
There was a certain special reason why CollectA decided to introduce these figures in their range and strangely not less than two, but that is the part I cannot remember now. Only recently I have seen another spoonbill from a major company, the more beautiful species, roseate spoonbill, but I like best the CollectA figures even if the species portraied is not as spectacular. It is time to one of these companies introduce an ibis in their range.

They were only produced a few years ago and they look like oldies, fantastic oldies! At that time a small outsider company named CollectA began to open its own wings... And we were younger too Good old days indeed.
My favorite was, and still is, the one with closed wings. I remember I had the Furuta one and was very afraid by these newcomers size.

I have the standing spoonbill in my collection and after seeing your pictures I wondered why I didn't order the walking one. Then I looked at my purchase receipt and it looks like I DID order the walking one... they just sent me the standing one by mistake and it was so impressive I didn't notice it until now!  

So guess what I am buying today.

Such gorgeous figures! So dynamic, detailed and beautiful Spoonbills are lovely birds, it's very nice to see such a good representation of them. And your shelf display is lovely! I love your capybaras, that's one model I still want to get...

These are amazing figures and wonderful photos! CollectA seems to have some of the nicest birds around.
