As I have some ostrich but all males I thought it will be a good idea to turn one into a female as this is the final result.

That is fantastic!

Did you use pastels or acrylics? I have some duplicates on Schleich horses that have some paint damage and I am considering customizing them. I dabbled in pastels before, but is a lot of trouble! Razz

Thanks for the compliments. I used acrylics for repainting my figurines, they work better on the plastic.

How right you are, - look at all those ostrich-chickens without a mom. I know the dad looks after them, but they DO have a mom !
Lots of other figueres have dads in spit of their moms lookin after them Wink

The only female I know of is this one from Bully/AAA :
