Suggestions for Toy Animal Wiki

I don´t know if this could be possible, but I would find it really useful to be able to create an account in that webpage and then check the items I already have. personally I am finding it difficult ot know which Schleich horses do I already have and wich others don´t, as they are getting too similar...

I am not quite sure I understand, but it sounds interesting
If your idea is not possible, - Do you know that you can print them out ?

My idea is, basically, adding a checklist to the page.

I try to avoid printing things, you know, saving paper and so on...

Yes, saving paper...but wouldn't your idea mean that each guest should have his/her own pages ?
One list can't be shared, and I doubt if anybody is interested other people's lists

Perhaps I misunderstend you, but in my imagination it would be a mess and a *beep* of a lot of work to the admins.

Anyway, it won't take many pages to print out only the horses

I understand perfectly your idea and there are some websites with check lists. I think it is really interesting and useful. It could allow collectors to track their collections just creating a profile on TAI and checking all figures in their possessions. The list generated, could be easily accessed on profile page.
We have two important problems, first, I don't know if the wiki software we use allow it. The other problem is that we already have almost 20.000 content pages, most part are pages of figures and adding all this code to all figures could result really a huge effort. Mainly, because it would require a standardized layout to all pages and it could be much easier if we had started like that. Remaking everything seems not plausible.
However, if we ever find how to do it, we consider to study your suggestion.

By the way, you can make easily a list of your figures using toy animal wiki. Just go to favorites (bookmarks), create a folder... f.i. "My collection" ... and start adding all figure pages you own, directly from TAI to that folder. It may look weird but it is easy and efficient.

Exactly, Rogèrio understood my idea :)

Susanne, I didn´t meant a public checklist, just a private one using users profiles. You could enter your user and password and then access your own checklist.

I already supossed it could be tedious and difficult, but just in case... I suggested it :)
