Walking bushbuck AVAILABLE for orders

Finally my walking bushbuck is ready for showing!

As some of you already noticed, I´m the newest member of Likaon, and this little one will be my first model there.

I sculpted it because SeanieP asked for one and I offered myself to do it. As I liked the result a lot I asked for permission to make copies instead of making him as OOAK, I was given it so here it is! I´m very proud of him. I think it´s one of my best sculptures ever. Thank you sooooo much SeanieP for your idea and for your patience!

I must also thanks José Miguel, aka Signatus because in fact it was him who made the copies for me.

About the little antelope, it fits well the Chobe Bushbuck. We call it "jeroglífico" in Spanish, which means hieroglyphic. I really like that name. His scale is 1:22 and he´s completely painted by hand with pastels and acrylics. He will soon be available for ordering through Likaon site! Stay tuned!

Only 3 left! They´ll be painted in mid November, maybe earlier. I don´t plan to make more copies in a near future as I am really busy those weeks but I´ll probably make a few more next year. I can´t promise.

Sylvia, first of all, congratulations with joining Likaon! What an awesome accomplishment! I wish you lots of luck and fun! I can't wait to see what other gorgeous figurines you'll be making!

Now back to your bushbuck. It looks stunning! I remembering seeing them in the wild during my holiday in Africa, and they were one of my favourite animals that I saw that holiday. They are gorgeous, wonderful animals, and I think you captured that really well in your lovely figurine! The colours are very nice and I really like the pose. Very well done!!

Really good sculpture Silvia. I like the feeling of movement and the paint job I think is very realistic. Those eyes !

That figure is sublime, I love the pose, it is bold as usual in your figures. The body expression is very fortunate. I love how you mixed strength and delicacy , both features of many antelopes. The painting is superb. A fantastic result!
