I would like to start off my collection with the CollectA Spinosaurus. I will post both extant animals and prehistoric ones. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I also got the Spinosaurus skull from VITAMIN IMAGINATION on Shapeways. It's a perfect fit!

Those are nice ones, I thought about buying one and finally decided myself for the Kinto Favorite Spino. Nevertheless, those are really interesting and I appreciate a lot a brand like CollectA because they aren't afraid about risky business. Making accurate and Up to date model is very brave.

I never acquired these new spinosaurus from CollectA just because I needed to stop collecting prehistoric animals. Though, those are surely among the most interesting figures released under that subject. The swimming one is even being retired. I agree with Christophe, CollectA is very brave from venturing in projects of figures representing very recent researches and that risk to be useless soon. Though, they are never useless, they tell the story of the several important scientific conclusions about these creatures and it bears a major interest. This year they gave a step forward also with their dimetrodon what I find very nice.

Very nice Spinosaurs! This is a favorite species of mine as well. It's great to see the short-legged version becoming more popular. I love your brown and black striped one.
