| I recently found this set of eight Nayab figures at a flea market. They were still in a part of the original plastic packaging and only a bit dusty but the condition is like new. The seller said, the figures had been bought but never used and therefore forgotten in the cupboard. Now at Christmas time, he wants to sell things that are no longer needed. The painting and the quality are very well done. I have for moment not the time to make very good photos. Here they are all together in the dusty plastic box: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now the single models: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]:queen:TAI knows more: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] _________________ Yvette

| Zirkoon, thanks for your comment. I agree with you, I was surprised about the good quality. Have you some figures by Nayab in your collection ? _________________ Yvette

| Nayab figures come in many painting variations and different painting quality. It seems you've got the best! That's an interesting series, they do not bear the same level of realism of the major brand figures but they are not also very far from it. Ibex may be my favorite too. |

Since now, I havn´t seen the Nayab figures in any shops here in Germany. Only at flea markets I found them time by time. _________________ Yvette

| I had half of those figures--the deer, pig, squirrel and fox. They came as part of a North American forest set--labelled as a Timpo set! Along with an owl, bear, coyote, beaver, bison and elk. _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! Labeld as Timpo set! Since now, I have seen at website fromNayab some figures, which I know from AAA and Bullyland. Has made Nayab figures for AAA or has AAA worked for Nayab ? I know also, that AAA has made figures many years ago for Bullyland.
Yup, that was many years ago--like 10 or so. I think that they may be the main maker of hollow figures. _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection! | Exactly, a member called [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], posting from China, warranted us that AAA, Happy Kin and several others were manufactured by Nayab. Curiously, not long ago, someone I am 100% sure it is from another manufacturer, has contacted me telling that the most part of figures on forum presented as Nayab, are actually made by a company called Toy-Mate. I even received, directly from their factory and as a gift, the Wild Canides set - complete and in original bag where I could confirm its origin. Obviously I haven't asked every single figure if it was Toy-Mate or not but it seems evident that, at least, these taxonomic sets are Toy-Mate although they continue presented as Nayab on TAI. These fine figures, known as realistic, we did find them in a Nayab catalogue and I have no evidence it is Toy-Mate. To add some more confusion to it, Nayab is also a manufacturer but it is still a trademark. So, Toy-Mate manufactures figures that could be marketed as Nayab. Confuse? Yes, as confuse as the story of the most famous brands. We often only know how they are branded but frequently, we don't know the real manufacturer or who really designed the original mould. |

| I have quite a few of these models under both Nayab and Timpo-however the one I'm really hoping to get is the Bezoar Goat which seems to be difficult to get here in the UK. |
