Hooves

The concept art for this horse was really great, but here I have this thing in my hand, hoping that he worst will be behind me.

+ Color of the main coat is well painted
+ Mane structure is nice
+ Headshape

- How is this poor animal constructed?
- What even is with the hooves?
- THERE ARE ACTUAL GROOVES IN THE HOOVES, WHAT THE HAY

I have no words to describe... THAT....

I have any problem with Appalloosas. I think there isn't a single one I can say that I like it very much. But that is a problem of mine. For example, I like all Anna's horses for Mojö but the Appies are my least favorite of her horses. It is also a color breed where horse conformation is not very important to determine how good is the figure. This particular figure looks like Schleich sculptors were pressured to finish their figures in a very short time and some things got not really finished. Schleich should reduce the number of horse releases and put more effort on them. Thanks for sharing, it is one more nice walk around.

Very nice photographs! This is actually one of my favorites of their 2018 lineup despite the issues. I agree that the hooves were what I found strange more than anything. There are some clear anatomical issues with her ear and neck as well. I hope they can get their sculpture quality together soon. It's a shame to see such a classic company turn out work like this.
