Or perhaps I was just unlucky that the first/last one of his books that I read was SO horribly scary

Schleich is full of loosers these days but these 3 are not. The Cape buffalo is a very fine figure and I like it very much. The koala is not remastered from the previous and at last it shows a different pose from its predecessor. The dinogorgon is an absolute news in this hobby, who could guess was releasing such an interesting animal that lived 250 millions years ago! The other surprise was the tawa, but this one look much nicer. I love Gorgon's expression, it seems someone asked him: - What do you think of new Schleich horses?

I'm hoping to see the Dinogorgon in stores soon here too! But, yeah, it's been at least a decade since Schleich did anything that made me excited (other than that little Potanichthys fish that came in the advent calendar, it was worth the price of the whole thing that I got rid of almost entirely!)
