Interesting set. What means Ezo?

Wonderful set! I am the lucky owner of the Ezo red fox and I find the sikka deer a masterpiece. On the other hand, I am not a huge fan of these half-bodied orcas but I understand why they're made like that.

That's the correct answer but I think, that more important to Andreas to know that it is a historical region, I think that the fact the Ezo is used in these animals to make reference to some subspecies ocurring in these islands. Yes, these are animals made often to the subspecies level what brings more interest to them.

This is an excellent set, I bought it but I let the orcas travel to another collector and I can't remember where is the fox
