Hello dear STSers!

Yes, I know that I've uploaded enough of walkarounds for today already, but be patient for the last time: I don't really know when I will be able to share something again XD

I remember how I just saw a prototype for Mr. Z Siberian Wolf model, and I felt in love with him at once. Later it seemed to be the regular serie, which is very beautiful... but very expensive, too. Well, if to save money for it, you can buy one of four (grey, white, brown or black) wolf, but it isn't always possible.
And one nice day I've seen that crafty chinese did a wonderful thing — a copy, which costs in 4 times less than the original thing. And not long time later I've got mine.

I was shoked when I just opened him — he is way heavier that I could think: even Papo large wolf with the same scale weight less!
I can say about him only this: he is amazing, beautiful, handsome and wonderful wolf model, and his anatomy is, I think, better than Sideshow Timber wolf. I have never seen copies with such high quality. Sculpt is fantastic: muscles of body, detailed face whose fur has fully right directions, eyes, nose with nostrils, cheeks, eyebrows... all!
Note: real wolves normal do not have blue eyes. At least VERY rare (in Germany lived one male with blue eyes called Rudy).

And as he is siberian wolf, he has got pretty common name in Russia and Belarus — Valentine [pronounce as Valenteene]

Lovely walkaround, Anasta! I have this lovely model too as well as two of the original resin ones.

The details are very astounding on this model and unmatched by anything else I've seen on the market today (both plastic and resin forms). It is a shame though the toes didn't make the cut with the plastic version and ended up more flat and rounded.

Probably my only other complaint with this model is the blue eyes. (I repainted mine to have gold/orange eyes it bothered me so much, lol.) While they are very beautiful with this figure they are an inaccurate representation in terms of a wild wolf considering blue eyes are extremely rare among pure wild wolves and are also just as rare in mid/high content wolfdogs as well. (Only low content wolf dogs will sometimes posess blue eyes.)

Other than that, it is a spectacular model and a true must have! I just can't get over how detailed the fur is on this model. Must have taken an incredible amount of time to sculpt all those fine details!

That is surely an impressive and very realistic figure! I think all wolf lovers of this forum got really happy with the copy version. It allowed many of you to get this wonderful sculpt for an affordable price. Your pictures are really great and give justice to this monumental figure, thanks for sharing and for giving part of your short free time to share so many good walk arounds with us!

What is the material of that copy? Are the other wolves also available? Wonderful pics and interesting informations :)

I've got the second copy (well you already saw it on DA and Instagram), and I'd like to do a walkaround for the second wolf, too. I didn't think that color will influence to my perception so much.
As I know, Rudy was a pure wolf. Well, blue eyes related with little amount of melanin, so it may have both pure wolves and wolfdogs. I also heard that black wolves appeared from hybrids: allegedly only dogs got a gene of black fur. Sounds pretty doubtfully, I should say, because many species have melanists (black leopard, black jaguar, canids, lizards).

Material is hard flexible plastic (it is a bit similar to Papo deers, for example), now there are available all 4 colors copies :)

What a wonderful creature and the photos are fantastic! I am lucky I don't collect these 1/6 scale models, otherwise I would be very tempted because I love wolves! I just wouldn't buy the copy version, personal attitude.

Very nice wolf!  I wouldn't buy a copy either, but I will not judge your decision to do this.  These Mr. Z animals are exceptionally beautiful.

It does make me wish that they made official versions just like yours that are much less expensive and cast in plastic rather than resin.  If they were like this, I would buy all three of their dobermans in a heartbeat! That being said, uncropped versions would be much preferred. Maybe it's good that I can't afford them.
