Papo Smilodon

I was able to grab this Prehistoric kitty second hand from my local Schleich/Papo shop. But it isn't on TAi yet and I have no idea when it was available (released around 1998) and what its product number is. I don't have my old Papo catalogues here, so I can't check him out. Can someone help me?

Thanks for the link, Kosta, - unfortunately the oldest Papo catalogue I have, is from 2002, but it  shows Gorak and Rahan, only it is says (C) 1998

They are in the 2003 catalouge also, but not in the one from 2004 and on , as far as I can see

Thank you all for your searchwork! Kosta for the eBay link, Susanne for looking up the Papo catalogues and Roger for the comic's site! So it seems this smilodon is named Gorak and he appeared in the Rahan comics. The French comics are about an intelligent prehistoric man (Rahan) and released in 1969. I didn't know this comic series either, but it's great Papo made figurines from it!

Susanne, underneath my Gorak figurine '1998' is marked, so this corresponds with the information in your catalogue. So it seems they were available from 1998-2003. Can you find any item number in your catalogues, Susanne? Were they sold seperated or as a set?

Gorak has item no 30102, and Rahan no 30101.
As they have separate item numbers, they must be sold separately
