Corgi Toys Circus Chipperfields Horse-Trailer came in for March 2011

As a kid, i played a lot with animal-figurines, but i had lots of cars to, as long as they had animals in the set.
So i had quit a few models from Corgi Toys, which included animals, like the Circus Chipperfields sets.
One of them was the 1130 Bedford Truck with Circushorse-Trailer.
Actually, i had 2 of them in my youth.
When i am not wrong, they did cost about 7 or 8 Dutch Gulders in the 1960's, and Now the asking price for one in mint-condition is around the 350-400 euro mark!
Well, i found one much cheaper, but for that not in mint-condition, but with all of the 6 horses, and quit reasonable.

Recently, i found the 1966 Corgi Toys Catalogue, in which this trailer was pictured...

More an inteesting chapter of the history of animal replicas!

Yes, i am very happy with it.
My two own that i had in the past would have looked much worser then this one.
But for that, there are still examples in very new and mint&boxed condition, and that is so for many of those old Corgi Toys.
Next to this one, i had the Landrover on the picture of this catalogue to, including a clown and a chimp.
Further 2 animal-cages trailer, one with 2 polarbears(from which i found one recently) and one with 2 lions.
But there are much more models in this Circus Chipperfields Series...
And later on, they made a lot of new models, a bit more modern, but same nice.
I have lots of pictures for who is interested in these series.
Next to that, Corgi Toys made some great other models, like those from the TV-Series "Daktari", "Chity Chitty Bang Bang","Batman", "The Green Hornet","Kojak","Starsky and Hutch" and much more...

Yes, it is Amy, i am very happy i found this gem for such a good price, because a real mint-condition model would have cost me between 300-400 euro!
Now i paid only 10% of that...
