Hi everybody! Nice to see here all people who interesting of my collection!
Last post was in December, and new 2019 year had already brought me some new additions What a Face

And I perhaps start with sad photos.
This is 43-cm killer whale sculpture from San Juan Islands (USA). It's first sculpture of other 30, that master ever made.
But it's more accurate to say "WAS".
Sender didn't packed it well and it was broken on the way to Russia. This is real tragedy for me, because I never seen such sculpture before during all my collectible time.
Only good master can repair it because it's very heavy (more 4 kg) and broken at an angle - so no glue can hold such weight. Unfortunately I can't find good sculptor in my place of live now and this beautiful orca lays "disassembled".
Sad

This is really sad. It is such a great sculpture. Is there any folklore behind this totem?

It was surely disappointing for you making such an investment in a figure you wanted so much and it arrived broken due to negligent packing from the sender. Sad However, we should concentrate on positive things and you really acquired wonderful cetacean figures! cheers

Thank you!
Unfortunately I don't know any information about the sculpture and about the master. Seller only says that it belonged to her father and when he passed away she decided to sell it. And the date on it's bottom is 1995 year.
