| Those are not yet news about the long awaited common spotted cuscus from Science and Nature that is promised since we started [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Though, there are some cool news about S&N and it is good to see our friends still releasing new replicas. Green sea turtle, product number 75965, 7 cm long, an addition to Science & Nature sea life. Frilled lizard, a new version once the extra illusive previous on small series was long retired. It is 8,5 cm long and product number is 75967. Another reptile on small replicas and a big news to the range is the bearded dragon, product number 75966, 8 cm long. A new complete series of prehistoric animals is also presented. Once the very interesting previous series of Australian dinosaurs is not anymore available, it opens way to a new series of common prehistoric animals. Those are also small figures, being the T-Rex aprox. 8,5 cm long. Stegosaurus Pteranodon Spinosaurus Triceratops T-Rex All information and pictures were obtained on MiniZoo online shop where these figures can be purchased for very affordable prices.

| You're welcome Fernando and Andreas! I hope to see real pictures of these as soon as someone gets them. It is noticiable that they recovered the somewhat simplistic design of the past but I find them very nice and I may also be interested in that bearded dragon. |

| Besides a new logo, Science and Nature is also including a new lion figure in their Zoo Replicas series. |

| Thankyou for the info, Roger !!! The lion looks nice, even if he is just anothe lion Unfortunatley those dinos are just what everyone makes. They could have made better verisons of the old ones, which can't stand on their feet I wished they would stick to the Australian animals...there certainly still are enough to choose from. Good that we have Southlands |

| Is it just me or has S&N's quality gone down? Or maybe they don't put the effort into the non-Australian fauna? When I was a generalist I bought years ago several of their AUS, NZ species and they were much nicer than these. |

I think their "Zoo" animals are nice and charming, and the paintwork is fine. But the choice of species is very booring compared to what they used to make |

| I honestly think they share a similar quality to what they did before. The biggest difference is that we are now used with figures sculpted with high levels of details and realism. When we compare these with the most recent CollectA, Papo, etc. or even Southlands, we surely find the S&N toyish but if we compare them with the earlier Safari or Schleich figures, we find all of them toyish. I love these S&N, mostly the Animals of Australia, they have a quality more than good to their low prices. They also have a few figures sculpted by Jason, now the Southlands manager, that have a very good quality, namely the snakes, owl and bandy. |

| yes their Australian fauna is still very nice, but the non-Australian stuff doesn't seem to be at the same level of quality. Maybe it's just these images. |

| Those dinosaurs are made by Recur. I have the Pteranodon and it plainly has the Recur logo on the underside of one wing. _________________ Where I try to find the best figure of every species: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| About the Zoo animals I also tend to agree with all of you despite not knowing them in real. I am not even sure that the Zoo animals are S&N original moulds or oem moulds once they feature common animals and it is much cheaper to use existing models. - halichoeres wrote:

Science and Nature included RECUR in their collections. As those were marketed as S&N in the source I used, I thought they were not RECUR. Thanks for telling Tim. :) |
