The amazing Belgian draught mare from Collecta 2018 !!!!

This model must be an almost certain winner of The Horse Model of 2018

Sitting here with the terasse door open to the mild summer dusk, the air filled with bird song, and looking through the pictures I have taken of her today, I find it impossible to cut much down on the number, so prepare for A LOT of pictures    

The first pictures I took outdoors, and they show the colour best.
But for close ups , it is easier indoors .

She even has a slightly hanging lower lip, just like Bodil, the Belgian mare, who lives here

Party day! I have to celebrate that your great walk arounds are back!
About that mare, it is unbelievable! Close-ups are usually cruel to the figures but that sculpt is perfect to the microscopic level! Every detail is supposed to be there and everything feels so realistic and organic. The whole proportions are perfect and that head is unmatched. Wonderful tribute to the breed and surely a museum quality piece.

It's no secret horses are not for me, but this is a stunning model!
