| Hi Everyone,
Are Schleich unpainted / blank figures collectible and/or have any value (Never painted, not paint removed). I have a small collection I purchased from a lovely lady who used to live and work in Germany. I've never seen one before except in Schleich released pictures (Like the Sloth)
Can anyone give me more information about unpainted Schleich figures in general?
Thanks in advance! |

| Hi, AK, and welcome here Those are called "Rohlings", meaning something ruike "raw things" in German. Often they are rejected models, or test models, sometimes in unusual colours, which have been thrown away, and somebody picked them up. Schleich strictly forbids their employees to take them, and it seems that Schleich is enforcing this rule strictly later years, so nowadays they are extremely rare. Earlier they were not quite that rare, but still there were never many around. Like everything unusual they have collectors, and the price depends on the demand. |

| Hi Susanne,
Thank you for much for all the information! It is a great little collection. I will see if I can get a picture up, some earlier models, and some right up until 2012 releases :) |
