8 lovely birds from Eikoh 2018 :-)

A Japanese friend helped me get some of the new EIKOs ( Miniature Planet ) , and I am completely besotted by the birds.


The crested ibis is always an impressive bird, even if the paintwork of this one could be more carefully applied


Together with the one from Kitan :


Ohhh, so lovely ! The Kingfisher is really SO beautyful








Lovely Eurasian tree sparrow, once a very common bird, but in Denmark they have become quite rare  






Raven, the bird of Odin


Rock ptarmigan in his spring plumage  




Japanese white-eye !!!! Isn't this bird the most lovely, little cutie ?
This model is perhaps the one I love the most in the set  






Eastern spot-billed duck. Elegant in a subdued way  


Last, not least,  here comes another wonderful model : Blakiston's fish owl  
This large owl, catches fish ! The first time I saw one on TV, I didn't believe my own eyes  

That are vey wonderful birds and i hope to find a few soon. My favourite is the duck, i think the only new specie as figurine

I am so glad you decided to present this set! What I like in this series is that it is obvious that the sculptor made these figures with love. I adore some details on them and also their expression.
