Sloth Bear (Melursus ursinus; 1:22)

Hi, again, friends
This post is just to show you an attemp on my first bear (I love this group!). It is unpainted because I'll try to cast copies. Most probably the silicone mould will ruin the model (I'm still learning on this). Well, we will see wich is the end of this Baloo... As usually, please, keep in mind that I'm a worst photographer than model-maker, or I think so

I enjoy absolutely your style. Mainly that you haven't sculpted it as it has just went from a cosmetics study. Yes, some animals look much more natural when done like that, mainly the work with the fur is very clever. The pose is also intringuing and my opinion is generically very positive about your job.

Although I appreciate those figures based on more 'canonical' poses, from time to time I prefer to try less usual gestures, even when they could result in a figure less attractive. In this case, I was searching for a small bear resembling their quirky and a little unsteady movement, as well as a unheveled long fur...

I'll add to the agreement, that it is a great sculpture with nice fur.

I also appreciate your intention (and description) with the pose. When going about their business, bears are not concerned with always striking elegant poses.
