Found these sets in Lidl on the run up to Christmas,so kept them until Christmas. They came as 3 sets of wild animals and 1 set of farm animals and 1 set of horses. Most are copies of Schleich and well made but there are a few oddities like the elephant and the giant zebra!!They are make by a company called deltasport in Hamburg.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I think I spotted these online, or in the Lidl flyer scratch There was also this meerkat on steroids Laughing

Here are the sets, as they were sold:

They were sold under the brand Playtive.

Those pictures were still online on the Lidl site, so maybe they still sell them? I haven't been to a Lidl for a few months, so I have no clue if they still have them here. But it may be worth a try!

I will check but likely they will only be available on the continent.Lidl here in the UK issues a lot of things on a week by week basis and then you never see them again and they did this with the models.I have just realised that the black horse in the horse set is not the one I got in the set I bought!

PostSubject: LIDL Supermarkets selling new sets with animal figures!   Models from Lidl EmptyThu Dec 05, 2019 10:18 pm

Lidl supermarket is selling again animal figures.
This time I've found locally 3 sets. Two about wildlife and another with horses and foals.
Watching online there are more sets:
They are 9,99 Euros each set of five figures. I haven't bought but if someone interested, I can buy and send it as long as it is available.
Figures are smaller than those from major brands, similarly sized with the Nayab realistic figures.

I bought 3 sets last time, but only one for myself. It is too sad that at the moment Aldi don't sale the tubes.

These two figures ended in my collection. They are made of a very dense pvc.
They are sold as crocodile and sloth but I identifyied them at Toy Animal Wiki as American alligator and brown-throated sloth.
The reptile because it has clearly a U shaped head typical of alligators and it belongs to a set with a sloth and jaguar what makes sense.
The sloth is clearly a three-toed sloth as you can see from the three digits on forelimbs and it doesn't show any feature of the other three species. When a sloth is lazy, it is a brown-throated sloth. Laughing
If you think the identifications are not correct or too ambitious, please let me know.

I merged my topic about Lidl figures with Taos' topic once I haven't noticed Taylor presented them first.
