Schleich Chimpanzee. I think this model is worse than the others. More like toy than animal model. The previous chimpanzee family was the best from Schleich. Finally I bought it just because it is a chimp and because I love apes but I was thinking a lot to decide.

This is a horribly painted lion. I think with as good paint as the 2008-2015 lion had, this model won't be as bad as it is.

The 2008 lion is still one of the best Schleich ever released in my opinion. The anatomy was simply wonderful. They have only gotten more cartoony and toyish since then. It makes me very sad.

Very lovely additions though!

I agree about the chimp and my collection too once my Schleich chimp is the previous male one. However, I think it is enough decent for a chimp lover and you did well acquiring it. The lion I honestly don't like, the 2008 one was surely better although not as nice as the best ones on market these days. A company that do not have a good lion risks to not be taken seriously.

Sadly I didn't add new post long time ago.
So it is time to share anything.
My summer was busy and I had only few time for collecting and sculpting but I got a parcel.
It came from my fantastic friends, Koni Miniatures and Dark Pegasus Studios. I love the beautiful models they sent me. I'm so lucky. A big THANK YOU for them!!! :)
