My wildlife pictures  - Page 2 Empty

Before seeing your post I was observing a very curious woodpigeon who was sitting in a cherry tree watching me as I imitated its call, (I can make animal sounds!) I was also confusing Stumpy (a local magpie who has a short and broken tail) by copying he/she's call.

That juveline eurasian nuthatch had a crash with our window today. But after around 30 minutes the bird was fine again and flew away.

Very rarely we have birds flying into our windows, but only last week we had two woodpigeons that flew into the windows. One flew into the kitchen window, and one flew into the dining room window. Maybe two years ago a goldfinch flew into the kitchen window and sadly died so we buried it in the pet graveyard.
