Here my optinion on mother bear.

It had the most static pose. Just all paws down, not walking.
I like the basic middle-brown colour. It is less shimmering as the Schleich 14685.
and for sure less glossy or plasticy looking than the Papo 50240.

The skin/fur texture is quite flat. Not as rough as the bigger Schleich 14685.
I think it is more of a European bear, as it is not as bulky.
It has normal nails, no grizzly nails. The paintjob of the nails is quite bad.
It has decent painted soles, but the print of the backpaws is not correct.
I am glad the no longer use the big company stamp on the belly.

The little fish that comes with the playset is nice, but does not hold firm in the mouth.
A small item like that will get lost very easily.

Thanks for your pictures and useful observations. It seems to be a lazy sculpt but surely doesn't look an unpleasant figure. I suspect the lack of the marking is because it is from a set. I am not sure because I haven't bought a single Schleich set yet. Will Schleich release a polar bear set with a seal in their mouth?
