The 2001 Schleich Humpback Whale

After I've done the walkaround about the Humpback Whale from CollectA, I want to show you the one from Schleich now:)

Now, the one from Schleich. This model was released in 2001 and retired in 2012. It belongs to the Schleich Sea Life Range. The Humpback Whale is around 33 cm long and is one of the largest models of Humpbacks. This model was produced by Maia and Borges for Schleich.

For a whales lover as you are, it is a unmissable figure. I had it before, I got it cheap from a local auction website, though, through my several collecting downgradings, I accepted that I could not collect whales and it found eventually a good owner.
This figure is one of the masterpieces Maia and Borges released to that particular Schleich series and, considering the tendencies of the toy industry that Schleich is usually hostage to them, hardly Schleich will make another humpback whale as prodigious and monumental as this one.
