Fartuman is one of the knights that guard the Princesses. He is very brave and valiant. A true knight in everything he does. He protects the valley, patrolling the mountain ring and sometimes stealing away to make sure no one learns of our secluded sanctuary.
In becoming a knight, he gave up his wings. This is so that he can blend in the Man.
He ventures beyond the Fog at times, so that rumours about our valley can be silenced. He knows a very specific set of spells, so that he does not have to take a life where it is not necessary.
At the moment Fartuman is unwed.

I never noticed tiewe has the unicorns listed. It is probably because I don't collect them.

Christmas at the Stables

 

It isn’t quite lovely weather for a sleigh ride together. But it is Christmas all the same. There is a tree in the canteen and Joost’s boyfriend has hung up mistletoe in the stables. Christmas songs are playing all day long and there has been a secret santa event in the making for a few weeks now.

The stablehands are planning to celebrate Christmas together, at the stables. They have been invited by Pieter to join the family’s celebration.
Joost is even allowed to bring his boyfriend. And Tinka brings her dogs.

For the children, there is a Christmas event. Pieter will dress up as Santa and give out small presents. There will be a lot of sweet snacks and even some fun Christmas themed games.  The shetlanders will be given antler headbands and the stablehands dress up as elves.
It will be a lot of fun and the Christmas spirit will be shared.

Niklas has bought Tinka a very special gift and he hopes to be able to give it to her in private, though it is so busy that he is not sure he will get the chance.

The sheer fact that I am 3 literal years behind with posting, my goodness, I am so sorry I slacked off so much.

Neele is one of the Alpacas of the stables. She is a bit of a moody animal. But that might be because she has two foals to look after. And they are a handful.
Though, Neele has always been a bit cranky. The children know not to pet her too much. And the stablehands know they have to act firmly with her.
Her two foals are named Alvey and Aava. They are very playful and hyperactive. Their father is Rick.

Aava is one of Neele’s twin foals. She is very mischievous and tends to go looking for trouble. Her mother as well as the stablehands have quite a task keeping her and her brother out of trouble. This is not often enjoyable.

Taraya is one of the many foals that belong to the Unicorn Herd. She is likely one of the older foals born to the current herd. She is one of the least shy foals. She doesn’t even mind being around the Fae. The likelihood of her bonding to a Fae is certainly present.
She is likely born to Enya and fathered by Ghost or Manwë.

Very Very Very Belated Post for 9 Juli '20


Lugh is one of the amazingly stunning winged lions at the valley. He is not native from here. Where he came from, we cannot quite understand. When he speaks of this place it is in a language we do not understand.
He flew here with his two cubs. We are not very sure what happened to his mate, but there is a likelihood that she passed away.
Lugh is very friendly, although he has a bit of a hard time learning our tongue. He does his very best, though. He does his very best at everything he does. Learning the language, making friends and helping out where he can. And of course he is a stellar father.
He loves his cubs, Nuada and Shisa, very much. He protects them fiercely, but also lets them learn to be independent.

Super Belated and Special Post for 10 Juli '20


Feya is a very friendly and welcoming Flower Fae woman. She loves dancing and baking. And she has a lot of friends to bake for and dance with! She likes keeping busy with her friends and is very bad at being alone.
She is very good at gardening too. She grows her own fruit to use in her pies. Those pies are famous among all Fae.
She has a crush on Falaroy, but that might not be meant to be.

The population of our Valley keeps ever growing.

From the mountains descended unicorn foals. Seven beautiful foals, smelling of rock and gems. And they shine like gemstones, too. Each more beautiful than the next.

If they truly hail from the mountains, they do not want to say. Much like the fruit unicorns, they have been taken into the Royal Unicorn herd for the time being.
A scout has been sent into the Mountains to find more information. Until such time as they return, we shall make no assumptions.

The foals are all very polite, albeit a bit shy. The Royal mares are patient with them and allow them time to get used to the herd.
None of the foals have expressed the need for a mother's milk and are pretty fine grazing in the pastures with the herd. Though they do tend to wander a little in search of fruits and flowers, which they seem to prefer over grass.

I can only hope we find out more about them.

Incredibly Belated Post For 12 Juli '20


Bono lives in the tallwood jungle. He is known there as a loud prankster. He is not a very serious animal and loves making bawdy jokes. Not very many other animals like being around him all the time. He can get quite annoying.
Though he does have several friends. Among those are Maurice, Lazlo and Louis. He is a very bad influence on the latter.

Overly Belated Post For 13 Juli '20


Pam is a somewhat older Andalusian Mare. She was born and bred in Spain and was purchased by Marisè a little while ago. She is one of the horses available for lease. She is headstrong and quite a bit bossy. But experienced riders should not have too much trouble with her.
She is proficient in dressage riding. She has won local prizes and was well on her way to debut nationally, but then she was abruptly sold and has yet to find a rider who is willing to try debuting with her. She has the attitude for it and Mr. von den Perenbaum is more than happy to be of help if a leaser were to want that.
With the stallion Noctis, Pam has two foals. The first is a yearling mare named Janice. And the second a colt named Neji.


Pam is a member of the Pendragon herd. Her parents were of a very high standing and she kind of expects to maintain that status without putting in any effort. It is no small surprise, thusly, that many in the herd are not very fond of her.
She does have a few friends, some of other herds and some in her own. She is also quite the gossip, which many do not really like.
She is mated to Noctis Lucis Caelum. This makes her good sister to Delling. With Noctis she has a yearling filly named Janice and a newborn colt named Neji.

Neji is Pam’s playful colt. He is very outgoing and loves to play with his ball. Though he is sometimes so hyper his mother needs a break from him. Then the stablehands put him in the indoor arena with other colts and let them race around.
Neji gets along best with Xander, Westley and Pypar. They often race around and tend to play rough.
Neji’s sire is Noctis and his dam is Pam. He has an older sister named Janice.


Neji is a junior member of the Pendragon herd. He is a very playful young colt, with a great many friends and a lot of mischief. He tends to get into trouble a lot. His mother always tries to cover for him, believing him her innocent little angel.
He tries to hang out with the older colts and acts troublesome to impress them. It would seem his only genuine friend is Izuna.
Neji’s sire is Noctis and his dam is Pam. He has an older sister named Janice.

Very Belated Post for 15 Juli '20


Bebop lives on the plains with her son Hammlet. She is a sociable animal, always willing to have a chat, but she keeps it surface level. Maybe she has secrets, maybe she just prefers her privacy as such.
Her mate Wartner is one of the beastling’s victims. She has not let this embitter her, luckily. She is very kind and gentle. She is of the attitude that we are all safer when we look after one another. And truly, she is likely very right.

Nonia is a companion foal of the Flower Fae. She comes and goes as she pleases. She is a bit of an airhead, but she is very sweet and a good friend to many a Flower Companion. Her best friends are Celery and Fee.

Fizzian is one of the heroic skinchangers. He lives mainly on the plains, where he keeps vigilant watch over the animals there. The beastlings stand no chance when he is around.
He is a very brave fighter, who is especially skilled at spear throwing. His spears are dipped in a special poison, so all those who are on the receiving end should fear. The beastlings are wise to avoid him.

Eventing

The stables are all abuzz. Something is being organised and Pieter is being secretive about it. It has something to do with the very large trailer he has recently bought. And everyone is excited about it.
Though it seems to be yet a secret, the whispers are more alive then when Niklas and Tinka were kissing in the stables. Rumours are abound and everyone has their own two cents. Though, this is nothing new.
Every resident has their own take according to their limited world view. The dogs are the most excited and the cats are mostly indifferent. Most horses think there is a large tournament upcoming.

It is not yet unveiled what is truly going on, but Pieter has said something with a jacuzzi. The impatience is palpable at the stables and people keep pestering him for an answer. Though he is stubborn as a mule about this. We will have to wait and see

Fergus is one of Pieter’s prize winning bulls. He is a handsome, four year old Scottish Highland Bull. He is the only prize bull Pieter bred himself.
He is very gentle and rather cuddly. He is sociable to cows, humans and other animals and has a very low escape risk. He is fine just walking around and getting attention.
His sire is the prize bull Harris and the very good natured cow Moibeal. This makes him full brother to the calf Klette.


Fergus lives with men beyond the fog. Together with his father Harris he is often used to pull a large cart and sometimes a plough. He is very calm and gentle, so well suited for this task.
His mother is the cow Moibeal and he has a full blood sister Klette.

Very Belated Post for 20 Juli '20


Caspar is Victoria’s very expensive and reckless pomeranian. He is energetic and very very curious. Whenever she takes him to the stables, he will find himself in some sort of trouble. But he is also very sociable. He gets along with most dogs and is very well socialised to people.
But he is not very well trained and will wander off. Usually much to Victoria’s stress. Though he is easily brought back with treats and the squeaking of his favourite toys.


Caspar is a companion dog for the Man beyond the Fog. He is a true lapdog, but also loves playing. He plays with Man’s young and the other pets in his home.
He is noisy and curious, loving to investigate whatever comes across his path.

Very Belated Post for 21 Juli '20


Mietta is a gentle soul, living on the plains of our valley. She is wise and kind. She is already quite elderly and has a lot of experience to teach others with. And other animals are very glad to learn from her.
She is mated to Antoine and they used to have young, but they were victims of the beastling. She and Antoine are now too old to have new cubs, but are happy to be foster parents to those who need.

Very Belated Post For 22 Juli '20


Raghel is a gentle and sweet Connemara mare. She is a good pony for beginning riders. She is patient and obedient but more sensitive than her sister Claire. She is known for her comfortable gait and her reluctance for jumping. The children at the stables are very fond of her and give her lots of tasty treats and cuddles.
Raghel is sociable and sweet to other horses. She is very accepting and not fussy at all. She is calm in the meadow and lets the other horses do the rough housing. Her best friends are Inge, Rhae and Jelka.


Raghel is a member of the Sarnori Mountain Clan. She is of low rank and frowned upon, because she is friendly to the Fae. This is not at all socially accepted by most of the members of the herd and sometimes the leaders contemplate sending her away. But she is not bonded to the Fae, so she has all the right to stay in the herd.
It would be wise if she mated soon so she would be more rooted in the herd, feel more bonds with it. But there is no eligible stallion in the herd for now.

Very Belated Post For 23 Juli '20


Gerion is a beautiful and gentle Hanoverian gelding. He is not difficult and can be ridden by riders with little experience. Usually he is rented out to ride around the woods, together with Baelor or on his own.
He is sociable to other horses and animals and very calm. He can be paired with almost every other horse, but gets along best with Baelor. His other vast friends are Mercedes, Clint and Theoden.
He has one brother named Glock’s Voice. He also has one filly named Joanna by the mare Tara, before he was gelded.


Gerion lives with Man beyond the Fog. He is used by the head of the stables to travel long distances at a good speed. He is gentle and obedient.
Man values him greatly for this trait and had him cover one mare before gelding him. With the mare Tara, he has one filly named Joanna. He also has a brother named Glock’s Voice.
