Wonderful model of "my cow", because I am from the same departement! My grand-father used to work with Aubrac oxens in the fields. And you are right, I only know the Papo other model for that breed..

Last year I bought this figurine:


Breyer "Elsa" Collector Club Web Special 2022 shiny Normandy dairy cow.

Well I found that this shiny color was a little too, how should I say: a little too flashy. So I asked Martin Garratt if he could do anything.

Here's the result :

I agree it looks much more realistic now!

I like the realistic approach of that pattern. It is not about more or less decifrable shapes, it is like we see in real animals. :)

I always enjoy seeing your beautiful cattle. I had missed the water buffalo. Great realistic scene! I didn't know that Breyer made such a beautiful cow recently. The original already looked good, but I am also not so keen on the very glossy Breyers. The repaint has certainly improved it.
