Some great additions including the not so Simmental,Simmental cow!!!Was due to get the black faced ram but it arrived with a broken leg

The Highland cow is one of my favorite cattle figures of ever. Pity that I don't collect this kind of figures.

Yes, would agree Roger that the Highland cow is one of the best models!!The Simmental is very good as well but shame about her colouring which makes her look more like a Maine Anjou or MRI.

I agree, why did they change her coloring? The first version looked much more of a simmental. They changed her coloring short time after she was released, as they also did with their Texas longhorn bull

That's interesting as I have only seen this colouring and not the original.

The first version had a white face, as is common in the Simmental breed, and more white on her body. Impossible to find now. I have been searching for her everywhere on eBay. I found her once, but when I contacted the seller I was told that the image on eBay was of the first issue, but it was the second issue he was selling Mojo changed her colors rather quickly, as they also did with the Texas longhorn bull. He went from black and white to brown and white.

It would have been really interesting to have seen the original Simmental.

I personally liked the first version better. You should ask Ana, she was the one that made the cow for Mojo. Maybe she have an image of the old version?

The Mojo looks more realistic, though there is something attractive to the Schleich one. I'm quite surprised that the Mojo one is even bigger, or it's maybe the photo that make them look like this..

The Mojo is slightly bigger but not by much!I was happy with the Schleich reindeer as its much better than in the catalogue!

If only the beautiful reindeers were smaller!

Wonderful models The bull is from ERTL, and I think it is supposed to be a Hereford bull. There is a cow and a calf going with it too

Mojö and Schleich reindeers look great together, their size difference is insignificant. Mojö's has a more natural stance and a more realistic approach while Schleich has the appeal of a shelf toy, standing with the head turned to one of the sides as it was looking at us. They are both desirable figures in their own way but none of them is as masterful as the CollectA caribou.
