Ideas for Papo in 2021

My ideas for 2021 are the following:

A feathered Oviraptor

A new Pteranodon (not the Jurassic Park one)
A new Woolly Rhinoceros
Megatherium
Glyptodon
Giant Shark (Megalodon)

Nice ideas but unfortunately Papo did not release these in 2019 .

Off the top of my head I would like to see:

Tibetan sand fox
Scottish wildcat
Cuban crocodile (or any uncommon species)
Any species of crane (with a leg support similar to the collecta spoonbil)

More sea birds. To go with the cormorant
More small South American primates. To go with the tamarin
European passerines such as: blue tit, chaffinch etc
Yellow Eyed Penguin, King Penguin and Adelie Penguin
Black Stork or an ibis
Smaller cats from South America. To go with the recently retired ocelot.

A coati. At this moment I don't really care from which brand, but I would love to see a coati by one of the major brands.

And a mara, a mara would be awesome too !

I would also suggest a clouded leopard, although Mojo and Safari have already made two. Big cats are one of Papo's strenghts so they should do a clouded leopard.

A serval would be also a good idea, since it is a well-known species that has only been made by safari before.

I think we have to keep in mind that Papo is, like Schleich, a "mainstream species" brand that is not very likely to make figures of unknown and obscure ungulates like those Taos mentioned. Moreover, CollectA is already here to get the job done for these species !

So I think the coati is a brilliant idea, since it is widespread in zoos but has never been done by a Major brand before. I would add the mara, the serval, the clouded leopard and why not a bear like the spectacled bear.

A caracal!..

My choices are based on Papo«s strategy with choices that being new species, are not completely unusual creatures in its widest sense.

- Siamang to replace the retired gibbon;
- Spectacled bear, standing like the black bear retired some years ago;
- Javan rhinoceros, Indian rhinos were retired and Javan are equally marketable as Asian rhinos;
- Sunda Pangolin to take the space left by the giant anteater;
- Scarlet Ibis, the mould may probably be used to another species as Papo did with the macaws;
- Asian badger, just remove the current weird one and make a a good Asian badger ;
- Bat-eared fox, to take the place of the fennec, a kit fox is good too;
- Forest Buffalo, Cape buffalo was retired and a replacement is needed;
- Caracal;
- Bonobo, I know a male chimp is to come but a bonobo is also a chimp, ok?
- Northern hariry-nosed wombat, for wombat mania, just use this species;
- - Sugar glider, I suspect Papo is working on a new koala but why not?
- Chinese giant salamander, a big boy;
- Goblin Shark, Papo's face!;
- Adèlie Penguin, cutest of this planet;
- Giant centiped (Ethmostigmus rubripes )

A diplocaulus. And some other more neglected Paleozoics.

Caracal, Sand Cat and Shiba Inu or Akita Inus would be my biggest hopes from Papo.

Yes! I want every company to take a year off from Cretaceous dinosaurs and focus on the Paleozoic and/or Triassic.

(CollectA had a pretty well-balanced lineup this year, honestly, but they were the only ones)

Agree! I would also like to see both a banteng and a Murrah water buffalo. Hope this time they finally hears us!

True! Papo needs to consider a domestic water buffalo (particularly from the Mediterranean "river" type). I would also recommend either a gaur or a yak cow and calf.

It's from 2020. Like a few other figures, Papo want release it 2020, but not ready for that, so they come 2021.
