Found these at a local toy fair.Think they are quite rare as I have never seen either of the horses in black and the large one is the hunter and I have never seen it as a riding horse. The other model I have as a white horse. The Runner ducks are really nice and I have a number of sets.

Britains made really beautiful horse figures. I don't understand why they are not a regular presence among horse collectors.

Great discoveries. I believe the Hackney horse on the left was only produced in black as part of an equestrian set between 1972 and 1977. According to Barney Brown, the hunter horse with rider on the right was produced in black between 1968 and 1972, so it is also quite rare. The latter is more common in brown or tan, as it was produced 1963-1972.

Ah, they are runner ducks! I always assumed they were geese, but yes, they definitely look more like runner ducks.
