Yes Adam, these figures are extremely small and they are often used for dioramas of model railways too. - costicuba wrote:

Thanks Kosta - You gave me some very beautiful figures as a gift too. I will post them on STS next time. _________________ Yvette

Here are some pictures of my old, beloved bird He does not have much colour left, and some of his beak is missing, but he is wonderful anyway [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Just as Kosta, I also love this model. It looks like a proud monarch with a royal mantle with a long train that hides his secret treasure. I have the smaller and newer Preiser figure that is also very beautiful.

I love it- there's something more attractive about it than the standard full display view. And for it to be such an old friend!

| Oh, so very detailed photos Susanne! Yes, it´s the peacock from the III. generation (1927-1940). The article number is 418. Congratulations, this is a beautiful and rare model in a very good condition. I have one more question for this photo. Is peacock which is standing behind the "III.- generation-peacock" also by Lineol ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Yvette

Thankyou very much , dear Yvette It is Elastolin, I think it is also from before 1940:scratch: As far as I can see from Raue's book, the newer ones have more reddish wings.
