| I love the orangutan's pose, he looks like a grumpy old man _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Many of these were also sold in Japan under the name Yuijin. One I wasn't aware of until now was the tiger (different painting style): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Yuijn consists of three parts: front body, hind legs and tail. It looks like the K&M is one piece. |

| Awesome awesome figures. Especially that Asian bear! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thanks folks! Interesting that same tiger is used by Yuijin! The rhino is marked as a Javan Rhino which is interesting. |

| K&M bulk figures are really special models. I like particularly the Asian sets. Yujin used a lot the same moulds as K&M. Wing Mau manufactured for both companies. You can see the official Wing Mau picture below. Though, I had no idea the Yujin version was divided in three parts. Probably it allowed them to be capsuled and it is not surprising once with that very long tail, that tiger was not surely designed to be sold as a gashapon. Besides the Frankensteinisation, much probably the year marked on it is different. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Thanks for that, I didn't realise neither K&M nor Yujin made the models themselves. Only the tiger from Yujin has separate parts. It's part of the Yujin Chinese zoodiac series, whereas the other ones are part of their Africa series. I think the tiger was produced in 2002. The models from the Africa series have exactly the same painting style as the K&Ms. |
