Goats by Britains.Not a huge selection by Britains!They were catalogued as Alpine goats

They looks really good. I own only one but it was one of my favourites

They are really, really nice !!!

I have the ones to the right from my childhood, just in black-and-white, and with a kid

I have been wondering what kind of goat they represent. Yes, perhaps Alpine goats; they are quite big.

Maybe the darker ones are British Alpine. We really need at a certain point to start compiling pictures to illustrate the excellent page Rogerpgvg started at the wiki. Britains Farm series is really the result from a dedicated research, every figure seems adjusted to a certain breed. Not just generic looking animals.

Here are some of the older Herald/Britains - the Black ones. And some of may other goats in roughly 1/32 scale as well...

Great collection of goats! I thought British Alpine goats don't have so much white, or do they? Where are the British Alps?

They don't have usually too much white and surely Britains would made them black if they wanted to make British Alpine goats. I was just trying to brainstorming a little around goats, not mountains.
