You can see, that even between models which where produced only one year (1991) are vaiations in the colour.

This is a very interesting discovery. I wonder if they were both manufactured and painted in the same place (Germany, Portugal, China), Peter?

Not only is the color different, but the finish is glossy, not matte like the other, more frequently seen variant.
