| Allow me to introduce my beloved Papo Polar bears to you. They are fantastic figueres, but mine have a wonderful history. The spectacular standing one from 2005 came from Portugal. Yes, from Roger, - who else  The oldest one from 2003 came from Spokane in Washington, - from Sue !!!! The sitting bear I got from Germany, and the baby came from another part of Germany. All made in China by a French compagny, - and now they are here in Denmark  They are SO different, i love them in each their own way. My son described them quite well : This one is from a children`s book: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This one is from a cartoon : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And this one is from Greenland : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I got the baby last, - he is cute, - only I think he got the wrong parent here  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This one, then. Is that his Mom ???? No  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But HERE is his Mom  Baby Bear is also from a children`s book, - So cute  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Perhaps it is about time that Papo finds a new baby Polar bear to fit the wonderful grown up one they have now , no matter how cute the little cub is  Thankyou Roger and Sue  , - and thank you for looking, my other friends |

| Thank you dear friends Yes, just imagine, 1/2 year ago I only had one Papo-figuere and never thought about getting any more . I wonder, the "Fuzzy" one, the oldest ( I love him also, Harriet), is stamped 2003, - how old is the brand Papo? It must be older than that ??????? |

On their site it says over 15 years Oh, yes, of course they have a site Silly me  It seems they started by making fairies, historical figueres etc..it does not say when they started making animal models though  |

| I'm not sure but I think that it was in 2004 and 2003 was the production year for the first range, not sure! Congratulations for your beautiful bear and my opinion is exactly the same of your son! |

| Thank you, Roger. That sounds reasonable, it says 2003 on the oldest Polar Bear. I sent a mail to Papo last night through their page. Perhaps they ansver ? But I am sure you are right Thank you Fernando, yes I, too LOVE Polar Bears - ezhilan wrote:

Tahnkyou, Eshilan, I am happy you like my bears I don`t know why they have yellow paint on them, - my son says it is because they have summer-coat, and it is dirty. He is a joker, my dear "little" son ( he is 1,85 and 29 years old), but he could be right |

| Polar bears have not exactly white coats but this is a complex story! They have transparent coat and a black skin, so they are not really white even it looks of this colour! Yellow patches are usual in older bears like greyish hairs in humans! Susanne, your son is a big joker, 1,85!  |
