Why don't we have MEG/ pups in my pocket on the TAI?

Tonight I asked Taylor (Taos) to reserve me lots of Puppies in my pocket to add some more to my collection and it occurs to me we don't have any of this brand what so ever on the TAI?!
Is there any particular reason why we don't have the company on the TAI? And I think we should add them to the TAI

I didn't realize they weren't up there; it seems an odd omission. Maybe it's because there are specialist-fan sites? But we have Breyers up, don't we? They also have sites...

I agree that it would be good to have at least some up.

As far as I know, nobody have the knowledge/interest/time to make the forms and take long time ownership of it. We refer to "Identify..."

When it comes to In The Pocket, my personal opinion is that they are in general too cartoonish for TAW

Ah, I see what you mean about the Breyers. But at least there is the placeholder page with links for someone trying to research a model they have found.

There is nothing there for MEG/ In My Pocket figures. As they are animals, and not necessarily quite cartoonish (at least the older ones), I think at least a placeholder page with links as with Breyer would be good.

If Adam is willing to take ownership, since he brought it up, why not?

As I am an editor on the TAI I can try my best on the company page but I'll need some pointers

Here are my handful of Puppy/Kitty In my Pocket figures. They have come to me mixed with other animal figures. As opposed to the recent rerelease of the brand, these vintage figures don't seem overly cartoony to me, no more so than some of the Schleich offerings. Other than the obvious identification of breed, I don't know anything about my figures other than that they're from the 90s.

Adam, if you think a few series deserve to be entered at the Toy Animal Wiki, it is a good chance to you improve your editing experience.
Sometimes we list a few cartoonish series as Kelly exemplified with Schleich but we are talking about a brand of "realistic" animals that make some cartoonish models. Here seems to be the other way round with several series of cartoonish models being a few less cartoonish than others.
I am not even sure if the Pupies in my Pocket is exclusive to MEG and I have no idea how these series are grouped. Though, as always, as long as you have a good batch of pictures and a good source of information, I am glad to help and support your editing project.

Adam, I hope you recover soon. TAW work is not to be done when we are busy with important things as it is the school. During your holidays, when you are bored with your hands in your pockets, you will find that something is missing. You will figure out what it is as soon as you find your pockets empty. Then, I will be glad of helping you. Try first to find any sources or lists, try to check to which exact series your figures belong, I have no idea if they have numbers or anything marked. After it, you will be ready.

Thanks Roger, I think I may have time as my school is paranoid I have Covid and will probably send my brother home today as well and make us self isolate for 2 weeks.

(I don't believe I have the virus, just a terrible cold that's making me feel rubbish)

Just found out, that my brother will be coming home and self isolating for 14 days as a Covid 19 test has come out positive at our school

We are all suffering a 2nd wave but without confinement in many places so it is not easy to calculate the consequences.
I really hope your brother are back home just in time and that it is only a question of prevention.
Yes, we all will continue getting colds and things like these, it doesn't have to be necessarily the COVID-19, please take care.
