| I like the dogs- the Dobermann looks like a show dog holding its stack but giving the approaching judge the fish eye lol. |

| Yes- back when I had my Doomer boy, he and I did it all. Neither one of us enjoyed conformation, so that didn't last too long. I was advised that he could finish with a different handler, but the whole point was us doing it together so nope. Don't need a Ch. in front of his name to know he's the best. Pip didn't like people outside the family, so I never really tried with her. Judges like to keep their fingers. |

| You must be so experienced then! I definitely agree, much more fun to do it together, and I know what you mean about Judge's fingers! I have seen dogs as high up as Crufts still trying to bite the judges' fingers... clearly shows they'd much rather be outside on a dog walk! I've tried lots of different dog activities with Bonnie, and her favourites seem to be agility and for some reason showing. I've never seen her more happy than when she starts trotting around and showing off, I think she likes it when everyone says 'you're so beautiful!' But we only do it for a bit of fun, agility is our main hobby! |

| Agility always looks fun, both for the dog and the owner. Showing in my opinion is for poultry (which I do occasionally), cattle and sheep (which my father will sometimes do) only. When you see dogs all 'fluffed' up it doesn't look right, they should be running around in a field or park loving life, not prancing around a ring like a dressage horse _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Yes I definitely agree, and not to mention how many health problems dogs have just to look a certain way Showing poultry! I've always wondered whether my pekin bantams are up to that Our sheep apparently have a high fat to muscles ratio, so wouldn't do that well as a show sheep and is why we ended up rescuing them as they weren't much use for breeding. And yes agility is so much fun, especially herding breeds seem to excel at it!! But if you want to do really well you really need a border collie, so I would love one in the future. Rough collies are very good, they've just been bred more for showing and so poor Bonnie seems to have lost some of her working drive. I'm sure your BC would do so well though, also considering he is probably from a working line. |

| If you want Lilias I can judge your bantams, and see if they're up to scratch and then when poultry shows open up again you can enter them, I could also see your sheep, even if they are a bit obese! He probably would excel at agility, but as I've mentioned he's a pest at times but recently he did do well with some of our rams, and he's doing very well for 8 months, and he's almost the size of a fully grown dog [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis.
