PostSubject: Papo kudu horns   Papo kudu horns EmptyMon May 16, 2011 3:46 am

Has anyone noticed issue with kudu's horns, specifically the left one. It isn't symmetrical, is that often seen with real life kudus or it's a mold problem?

I've just been looking at real Kudu's horns and they seem pretty symmetrical to me, so I should think the Papo's kudu has a horn fault. I'm going to have a look at my Papo Kudu.

You are right, the tip of the left horn is longer and turns inwards.
I never noticed, - you must have good eýes Shocked Cool Laughing

However, I think it is quite realistic, living creatures are rarely quite symmetrical, I do not see it as a mistake.

My dad`s uncle was a forrester and had a whole wall with antlers from deer he had shot. As far as I remember none of them were quite symmetrical Very Happy rendeer
Ha, ha, as a child I did not see all those "Skeletons" as scary, I would now What a Face

It's not so serious but I do mind. Horns are Kudu's trademark, why didn't they make typical animal? If a brand wants to make oryx, I could bet they wouldn't make it like this...
