| Great collection, lots of variety. Is there a particular reason why you like hyenas or collect them? |

| Oh, I really wanted so much to see this topic. I also took a long time to start my topic of foxes but it is now running for a long time, I also hope you continue updating yours. I know your focus are striped hyenas but I think the major brands spotted hyenas could easily enter your collection. Where can we see the Taylor & Barrett figure? |

| Wonderful hyenas Isabella! And the Animal Planet striped hyena really interests me, so I may put it on my wishlist. Can I use your photo? _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] thank you! It been almost ten years that I’ve liked hyenas so it’s hard for me to remember exactly but I believe it was when I fist saw the Lineol striped hyena figure while looking for other vintage figures, I fell in love with its unusual cuteness and started researching the species and it was all down hill from there [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Your fox topic was truly what inspired me to get mine started, it’s absolutely amazing to see all your beautiful foxes in one place I will definitely work hard to continue to update this topic:D It’s funny you say that since just yesterday I was able to purchase the old Papo hyena, it’s not the best looking but it has become somewhat rare and I’m excited to add it to my collection. I’m also planning to order from happy hen toys at some point with the Safari Ltd, and the mojo figures, I’m definitely more open to adding spotted hyenas now than I used to be:D [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] thank you so much! I’m so glad you like my hyenas! it really does seem like there are only a few hyena figures but once you start looking it is almost overwhelming how many there are and I still have many more to collectXD thank you for sharing which one is your favorite! The CollectA hyena is one of the first hyenas I ever got so it is very special to me:) plus just the fact that CollectA is the only major brand to release a striped hyena is pretty crazy and I applaud them for it [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Thank you Adam! Of course you can use the photo:) this hyena comes in a set with another hyena in a slightly different pose, a giraffe and a truck. Here is a link to one that’s on eBay now: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| It is a joy to know that my foxes topic inspired you. I also think it is a good decision to add some spotted hyenas, at least those nicer from major brands, to your collection. The Taylor & Barrett figure looks a striped hyena to me. It is striped, it has a huge mane and pointy ears. Obviously it is not an accurate model, the size of the head was more correct for a wild boar. ... but these figures have an incredible charm. |

| Oh I've been hoping you would show your collection! Many wonderfully sculpted figures here, nayab, chap mei, PEC, etc. I love the "blob" hyenas, they are great in their own way! Great selection. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Oh yeah, but even if I was to buy the set it's $74 plus $30 shipping , so I think I'll pass _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Roger I’m excited to add some more spotted hyenas to my collection as I’ve grown more and more fond of them:D I’m glad you think it’s a good idea. Thank you Roger, I put it in with the striped hyenas I think considering when it was made your assessment definitely makes sense. Yes it is a funny little figure but with its own charm as you say Paige thank you! I’m glad to finally be showing it:D they’re all very charming to me in their own ways from the highly detailed to the "blob" hyenas, a perfect way to describe them btw Susanne thank you so much!! I’m so happy you like the collection Yes! We cannot forget Thor and Loki, they will have prime places in my collection when they are ready to come home from their lovely stay in Denmark Kikimalou thank you! Lucky Luke thank you so much! Lilias thank you! that is definitely a big dream of mine, you may be able to hear the squeals of joy all the way in the UK when a new striped hyena is released from a major brand Advicot that’s exactly why I passed and instead am trying to collect them individually fingers crossed you can find one or both for your collection Andreas thank you so much! I’m so glad you like it Caracal thank you! Yes, that figure is used sort of interchangeably as a wild dog or a hyena in cheap china packs of animals but I’m going off the innovative kids hyena in the TAI, I’d definitely be willing to omit it if good evidence was found on it being meant to be a wild dog:D Taos thank you so much!! The Chap Mei is definitely one of my top favorites:D |

| Wow, such fun viewing- thanks for showing them! Hyenas really are cool animals; don't know why they get such a bum rap. I like the Chap Meis also, and oddly the little PECH sings to me. |

| Thank you Kelly! I’m so glad you like them:D I totally agree, they’re amazing animals and they play an important role in the eco system, it makes me mad that they’re looked down on and misinformation persists about them:( but I’m happy that they’re liked by most here because of our mutual love for and knowledge of animals:) I love my Chap Mei and it was one of the first striped hyenas I got so it’s extra special. I’m glad you like the PECH, mine reminds me of Roger because he got it for me so of course it makes me happy:D

| Great hyena collection!
So many I don't have...but I have a bunch more than even that!
Out of all of those... I really need to get my hands on a brown painted Clairet.
Makes me think I should revisit all of mine! _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection!
