Would be very disappointed if the dromedary does not win this one as this figure means such a lot to me.

Moreover, this is the only poll Schleich may win and I am still (although maybe the last) a Schleich supporter.

It doesn't matter indeed, the winner will be the STS winner and, since the beggining of STS animal of the year, it's not often the one I would choose.
The important thing is to discover what STS is, what most of us will elect. The winner will be a very interresting model, especially if it isn't the one we chose. It help to understand someone else choice and try to understand it.
Look at the finalists: The Schleich dromedary is on but I can't remember a lot of love letters about it. The Papo jackal is also on the poll and I read a lot of bad things about the guy. The Papo tiger cub is here too and nobody has one.
This is the fourth time we are making this contest. Until this year, only one Schleich reached the Wildlife figure poll, it was the pangolin. This unexpected (at least for me) dromedary reached the poll and is now at the second place... Not so bad indeed !

Hurray for Safari winning this category for the first time, and hurray for this beautiful Bushbaby!

All previous winners are in my collection. They are all wonderful. I think it is quite meritory that Safari won with an Incredible Creatures model. An oportune prize for a brand that is having such hard times. We must think about the gaps.
