| I like the penguins too. I have the Elastolins, but the ZZ Riesen are perhaps better. What size are they? ZZ Riesen often made their copies in a different size from the originals. Great to see feeding camels, or who knows, drinking. When you have a different pose, it's almost like you have a different species. |

- Congratulation Annette
Your yellow antelopes are Heinerle Springboks and your Camels and felines are Manurba. Your cows and donkeys look like Fontanini At last your ZZ Riesen are inspired by The Hausser elastolin ones
thank you Christophe! I was just thinking that the small antelopes look like springboks:) the standing cow and donkey are a composition, but the sitting ones are plastic. Are all 4 by Fontanini then? thank you about the Riesen! there is so much history and weaving in all these models (in my brain it's like a big tangle ) - widukind wrote:

Thank you Roger. I shall check out the Elastolin ones. I will get the measurements for you! Yes the feeding/drinking camels are amazing. And I agree, a different pose just makes everything seem even more wonderful! - Saarlooswolfhound wrote:

Thank you Roger. I shall check out the Elastolin ones. I will get the measurements for you! The Hausser elastolin I was talking about aren't the 1/32 ones, Hausser made some "Composition size" plastic models in the 60's, among them these penguins. Pictured with a Schleich man. | my penguins are packed away somewhere! but I did come across some models I got last year. These are the Disney blue eared zebras, the elegant giraffes and the nicely sculpted elephants. From out of nowhere so many started appearing, and now I have some nice herds! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]the elephants have adopted their protective shield - someone is being cared for! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]who could it be? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]the danger has gone! let's see who the elephants were protecting - aah a little baby foal! | I have some Takara Tomy sea life figures. I really love these jointed moveable models. They have so much personality. You might notice a Kinder Surprise Killer Whale in amongst the pod? and a baby orca too, it's a clip together model from something called Dangerous 80 or 90? I can't remember, but some of them are exceptionally good models, and as 1/32n scale. And some really cute Loch Ness monsters as well I love how the sea lions have fine whiskers on their face and they can be moved into the diving position. I added in some sharks I already had. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]with the baby orca [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Nessies [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]whales [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]sea lions [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and my dimetrodon has a new friend from France, a Salvat Dimetrodon as you can see they are exceptionally happy together! many enormous thanks to kind generous Roger! | I'm glad the Dimetrodon found a good place to live. However, there's no France in this story. I'm from Portugal, Salvat is a publishing company from Spain and this model, released around 2001, is a slightly larger copy of a Bullyland model which is from Germany. Now it lives in the UK and the new owner has a French name. So there is France on it. |

| Nice additions Annette I have a soft spot for the Disney elephant, it is really very nice. I'm probably to old to appreciate "too much articulated" toys, I was even too old at Playmobils dawn I must admit that these Takara Tomy are very well made, I have the Indian rhinoceros of course Dimetrodon Salvat has quite a personality, the two make a nice couple |

Do you have the Playmobil rhino? I think they are also very well made, with nice details to their animals. That's great you have the Takara rhino! Yes my dimetrodons are happy together |
