Parrot fishes Empty
PostSubject: Parrot fishes   Parrot fishes EmptyMon Jun 21, 2021 8:23 am

Dear all,

I recently found these two parrot fishes from a Kaiyodo set.
I'm trying to find out the reason for the different coloration, but I can't find it. Do you have more information?
Is a regional variant? Just a phenotype?

Thanks!

Thanks! I didn't thought it was so easy.

But I've been reading about these fishes transiting from females to males, initial and terminal phase, etc.

You're welcome. The blue one is surely a male in its terminal phase but I believe the reason why they are diffferently colored is just for gender identification.
