I recieved an email that as an official subscriber this was limited access to buy one. I admit, I snagged one while I could.

Obviously a ridiculous themed Christmas item but the more I look at it the more he grows on me!

I just updated my golden reindeer post and then saw this one.

The Schleich representative, whom I met today at the London Toy Fair, told me the golden was scrapped last minute and they released this version instead for Christmas 2021. I didn't even know of its existence until today when he handed me a copy to take home!

He also showed me images of another reindeer planned for Christmas 2022 - same reindeer but with Green antlers...I took a photo of the screen...will post.

It is nice to see alternative variations of Schleich models, particularly those which are 'exclusive'. Although I do wish I had a golden reindeer, it would have been fabulous! :-)

The idea is lack of ideas. Christmas trees are green, then we hang a few red balls on those antlers, maybe some Xmas lights too.
They could make one with golden antlers and hooves like those unicorns. I suspect this reindeer is not selling that well and they're giving use to the moulds.

I am just catching up on this posting...

Yes a Golden reindeer was originally planned as told to me by Schleich in Jan 2020 but then in Jan 2021 I was informed that idea was scrapped.

However, there is an alternate colour version of this Red antlered reindeer coming out in December 2022. I was shown an official photo of it and even took a photo of that photo but I dont have permission to print this and so must respect their wishes.

Loving these variations!
