| Wonderful new interpretation of the legendary Giant squid. I think that the colours are well placed. The longer tentacles however are a bit too short and I'm quite sure that these tentacles only have suckers on the tip. The eyes on the other hand are also quite well designed. |

| yes, the two longest tentacles should only have suckers on their paddle-like tip, not all the way down the arm |

| So nice to see pictures of the giant squid so early. It is a creature I never considered to add to my collection but collecting priorities are constantly changing. On the other hand, you have a lot of them. Do you have enough sperm whales? I enjoy the level of detail, a pity that extra detail about the arms. I am not aware CollectA released a giant squid, just a bellenite, I guess. Thanks for sharing! |

| Thanks for the comparison photos and the size board, they are very useful. In comparison to the Safari, the Papo is much fatter relative to its length and its eyes are larger too. What species is the CollectA? Would it be useable as a giant squid? |

| Oh I'm glad I checked here first, I was just about to do take photos for a walkaround of this figure since it just came in the mail today! I thought it would be larger for some reason, but I really love the detail and paintwork on it, especially the bottom. And I love how the longest tentacles are bendable like Safari's. Too bad the suckers on the tentacles are inaccurate. Safari's still remains my favorite because of its size but I really love this one by Papo, a great addition for my deep sea display That Colorata giant squid is beautiful too! _________________ Jolie

Do I have "enough" sperm whales ? The question is difficult to answer. My wife says I have more than enough figures altogether! But it's a good suggestion to take a closer look at my marine mammals and post an overview here. |

What a mistake !!! I apologize to all readers ! Of course the lowest squid is from Colorata ! I hope I have not caused too much confusion. The text has just been corrected. Thank you very much for pointing it out. |

| Thank you, Thomas. I also often confuse CollectA and Colorata when I type. Their style is very different, but their names are quite similar. |

| Could it perhaps be considered a colossal squid specimen? |

| The body, mantle and « tail » of a Colossal squid is very different. |
