Lucky-Luke new addition 2023 ....2024

at the Basel Zoo shop the other day at the end of the morning a new Papo!  
I couldn't believe my eyes I adopted this 2023 flying squirrel. What a joy I thought I would find it much later in the season!    
It entered my collection with the Piranas which I also found very pleasant, I saw it much bigger. So I end a wonderful day after my work and a short trip to the zoo.
I share some pictures to show you this squirrel.

Oh, I was not expecting to see it so early! What a huge excitment!
Undoubtfully it is an American flying squirrel. Thanks for showing it from many different angles and also for telling us about the different landing technics.

It's probably a southern flying squirrel based on descriptions. Hard to use online images. If you Google search both species, you'll find the same image being used for both!

It's hard to tell if it's tiny or very big without any other figures next to it to compare.

Here is a shot with his cousin Papo the red squirrel for comparison...
for those who don't know the grass the big and the small represent the size of a double LEGO and a Cube of about four!

Small, very small as it is supposed to be. I was expecting it to be much larger but I'm really very happy with the size of the figure. Thanks Jean!

Here is another AAA flying squirrel that I really like but the scale is too big for my shelves.
Here is a comparison picture!

The AAA is a giant flying squirrel, it is big but very cool. Really huge is the Safari model which is the same species as the Papo one.

I got it too, it's a very good model not to big!

My flying squirrel and seahorse arrived today. All I can say is Papo just gets better and better with these smaller species!
