Schleich Black nose sheep 13965

This cute sheep moved in. A very cute figure by Schleich!

I dont prefer sheeps but this figure is cute

I have just acquired this model as well and its a good example of the breed buy would have preferred a ram with horns!

It is a very interesting model and tells a lot about today's Schleich but in its best sense.
It is clearly a new wave Schleich figure.
Though, contrarily to some new models, this one has a very attractive design and it is as captivating as the older figures.
It specifies a breed which is really nice.
It's from Switzerland, not the first time Schleich focus on stock from this country.
It looks very small, much probably close to the 1:20 scale which is much smaller than the previous sheep figures but it is great because it works more realistic when together with the human figures and all the farm sets and accessories.

I can take another picture for comparison if you like.
If only the maker of horses at Schleich could do this good....

I'd love a comparison picture, the size of some Schleich figures is a mistery these days. The brand used to be very consistent and predictable and most new models were the exact same size as the previous ones. I only have the black sheep from 2016 but it is the same as the normal one.

I didn't own a single sheep before but when this figure came in at the store I work at I couldn't resist it! He sits on my desk, I just love his little face! The quality of this sheep is very good I thought too I never expected to be so in love with a sheep since I primarily collect wildlife figures

It is a very cute figure indeed.But to me it seems that this little thing is more an yearling than an actually grown up sheep( both ewes and rams have horns when they are over a year ) .Still love it even tho it doesn't look like a sheep to me

I added a little dirt-color to my sheep, now it looks a bit more like a sheep. Hopefully.








@Roger Sorry, I don't have any other sheeps vor Size comparison, went through my entire collection.. Expect the Britains sheeps but they don't count here.. Hope this helps though...

I received this figure as a review sample for the Animal Toy Blog, and I like it much better in-hand than in promo pics. It is a very glossy white, and the 'dirty wash' above is a great improvement!

Oh nice! So the Schleich sheep could be a yearling indeed! Ordered the ram as well, very natural looking animal!

Thanks for comparison pictures! This juvenile look Schleich used to give to many figures was in my opinion one of the reasons why their figures are so popular. This sheep recovered the idea and it works even if it is not exactly what we expect from a grown up specimen.
I love the dirt touch, figures are usually painted with bright and attractive colors, they help to sell better and they're easier in terms of manufacturing, however, a dirty color increases a lot the realism of a piece.

Great I like this sheep a much I don't rlly like sheeps but this one is great and your custom is better but just for ask do you have ducks figures ?
