schleich 2023 exclusives?

I don't think the Morgan will be released. We never got any pictures of her.

Actually it wasnt fake news.
It was reported in an email answer that the 2 missing horses didnt release because of production line problems.

aw, I love the spaniel in this color.

For anyone in the US-I emailed Schleich to ask why the exclusive horses aren't showing up on the website, and they told that they don't know when the horses will be back in stock and to keep checking the website.

I love the Spaniel and the mare looks fine as well. I'm just not happy with the price...

Yes, the price hurts... I got it for 99€ and only to keep the horse, the dog and the man character... But as I collect all the Schleich horses and have them all, I couldn't see myself not getting the pack :)

My exclusive horses have arrived!!!
So now I shall share them.


First up is the Knabstrupper Stallion:

Normally it's just my camera flash that makes the dark models look shiny but in this case, this model does have a rather shiny paint job.
(although my camera does exaggerate it quite a bit)
Marked "Made in Vietnam"


Next up, we have the Andalusian Mare:

Again, my camera flash makes the lighter brown parts of her paint look a lot brighter than they actually are.
I took a pic of her in a room with better lighting so you can see what she actually looks like a bit better.

Then it's the Mustang Stallion:

I originally thought this was the most boring of the new exclusives (especially compared to the original version).
However, after seeing him in person, I think he's stunning. I especially like the darker area
around his head where his forelock is.

And finally, the Holsteiner Mare:

I was relived when I discovered this model can stand upright by herself. Of the 4 other versions I have of this mold,
only 1 of them stands correctly (the original version can't stand at all, and the others all lean slightly to the side)
I was very pleased that this one has no problems standing. I also really love this colour on her.

Overall I really like all of them. To the point where it's hard to pick a favorite.
In my opinion Schleich have made an excellent job of this years exclusives.

They're really great, congratulations! The Mustang is a buckskin, isn't it? I like this color on this figure. The color of the Knabstrupper is also very although the mold doesn't look that nice.

I’d say the mustang is just a very light bay as opposed to buckskin. He doesn’t look “golden” enough to me to be a buckskin.
Yes I agree something about the shape of the Knabstrupper seems a little off to me too.

I think that I still prefer the Andalusian mare the most. She just looks super lovely in this dark colouring. The Knabstrupper looks quite good as well.
The Mustang looks better than on the promo picture but I still prefer the original. I would actually say that he looks more like a darker buckskin to me than a light bay. But with such a shade it's definitely arguable.
I'm still undecided on the Holsteiner mare. I love black horses and this colour definitely suits her. I don't like the original too much but her leg markings really bother me. Her little star is cute though and it is wonderful that your's actually stands. My original mare also has to lean on her foal.

He looks darker in person, which is why I think he’s a bay.
But you’re right, it’s a very fine line between the two.

Maybe the Holsteiner would look better with all 4 legs white, but i still like her as she is anyway.

The Schleich "72205 Camping trip with the caravan" is now available on the Schleich European Websites

It had only been available on the US site until now.

Would anybody know when the 2023 Exclusives will be available not only from Schleich.com, but in the MUELLER stores in Germany? Or are they already, perhaps?

Some of the previous exclusive horses (like the Tennessee Walker mare 72150) are also sold by Rossmann. Maybe they will have the new batch too.

Oh really, Rossmann carries Schleich - I didn‘t even know! Thank you, I‘ll have a look.

Some bigger stores have them, but not all.
Sometimes there are even discounts.
