| Idk if anyone has reviewed this girl, but I wanted to give my thoughts on her. She seems to be a less talked about mold, which is a shame, as she isn't a bad one at all. In fact, I would voucher to say that she is one of the better models Schleich has made in the 2019-2023 years. Anyways, on to my review. Firstly, I love her paint job. She's only a basic bay, but Schleich did a nice job with the shade of brown used and making sure that her shading is accurate. Her face marking is a bit rough, and could be blended in better with the rest of her face, but it's still a nice touch. Her hooves are also nice(though the paint job on mine could be a bit better), and I love that the hoof with a white marking is painted accurately(first time i na long time that I've seen this on a Schleich model). The sculpt itself is so much better than some of Schleich's other attempts at warmblood breeds in recent years. She actually has a chest and defined musculature, and her proportions, while not prefect or even that great, are leaps and bounds better than Schleich's worst. I love how her head is turned slightly, as if she is listening to something while trotting along(perhaps in hand or while doing polework with a rider aboard). Overall, I really like this model. She isn't one of Schleich greatest, but compared to some of their other releases from around the same time, she is an improvement. | As far as I know there's no topic dedicated to this horse and it's not a problem that you open a topic about a figure which was reviwed previously. It is not even on TAW yet and the Oldenburg page only shows Bullyland models. CollectA is releasing one for 2024 and it would be great to see a comparison with this Schleich if you ever get the CollectA. In terms of geometry it reminds somewhat the very early Arabians from Schleich. I'm just talking about design and not suggesting that it looks like an Arabian horse at all. I think your pictures show that it displays beautifully from a 3/4 angle and the last picture is especially beautiful! |

| I got so excited thinking that you would review CollectA's Oldenburger mare... But Schleich's is also fine. I would definitely agree that she is one of the nicer recent moulds Schleich has come up with even though I still don't like her that much. Her coat colour has decent shading to it and I love her little snip. The lighter hoof is a very welcomed detail and her head looks also quite pretty. But I don't like her pose that much. I definitely prefer the stallion over her. His pose makes him look playful and I tend to prefer darker coat colours in general. She is a fine model nevertheless and I am excited to see if I will like her more in grey or not. I really like your setup photos by the way. She looks like a proper showhorse there! I'm not sure if you do that intentionally but you can actually include more than three photos in one post so that you don't have to reply to your own topic in order of adding more pictures. |
