Ana's Malayan tapir calf walk around by Kikimalou

Together with the Southern eland came a wonderful tapir calf  

I'm very proud to show you the great gift Ana sent me. I already told you a lot of things about the eland... So I will only say I think the same about this one.

Ohhhh, it is the most adorable figuere
Those little feet, wonderfull nose, cute ears, - the expression on the face, - and the pattern.

That must be on the top list of most collectors, I am sure

And now, ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you a very very sad story       .. But with a Happy end  

Once upon a time, a cute tapir calf leaved Poland and came to France to search her mom. Her great friend, the southern eland offered a place in his box to the tapir calf. After some days, they reached the Tourcoing's jungle   but they couldn't find her mom.

The Southern eland found some of his ancestors but the little calf ( it's a girl !) was very sad and asked everybody on every shelves " Where is my mom ? Is she here ?"

First, she found a big guy named "PAPO from Brazil"


Hello   Do you know where is my mom ? Is she here ?

I don't know dear, but come with me, perhaps a friend of mine could help you

So they visited Schlechleic... Sclhechei...   ... The Baird's tapir


Mommy... Is it you ?  

Me    poor little calf I'm not for sure ! But maybe a friend could help us...

So the little calf searched everywhere for her black and white mom...

The little calf was very very sad and alone  

then came King Louis, the wise ape of the jungle. This guy is big but his heart is bigger.

No tapir calf no cry, no tapir calf no cry.

I know where is your mother, she is living with me on the VIP shelf. Come with me ...  

The little calf was affraid but she followed the big ape on the big shelf...

Welcome here my little daughter, I was waiting for you for so long

Aaaaaarhhh, SUCH a good ending

I was getting very nervous, would the little tapir be alone in big, big France

But she found her Mom

Man! Christophe! You are really crazy!!! I've never thought it before... but you are really really crazy!
But I'm sorry, Susanne is not yet sleeping! You have to find another story!
Fortunately you repainted your Schleich tapir or this poor baby would think her mother was a black and white Holstein cow!
