| That is a great set of sculptures!!!, Your skills are growing and growing.
Do you use a wire skeleton? If not, using a wire frame to build your sculpture over will allow you to make the animals stand up on all fours. It will also allow for very thin legs for animals like smaller deer or antelope and the legs will not collapse under the weight of the body.
Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more animals. |

Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more animals. Thanks Phil Actually, I've just bought some pipe cleaners which I will use as a skeleton, as I really want to make models standing. I did try using a wire frame, but the clay didn't stick to it and it kept spinning, so I had to scrap that. It will stick to the pipe cleaners though. I'm really looking forward to making models standing. |

| One thing I really love about yours is the fact that they aren't standing. Everyone makes standing figures. Yours are unique and quite brilliant. I'm sure if you do make some standing they will be amazing as well. |

| I've made another Okapi, this time, standing female. It's my first one standing so it might not be that good. I made her as if she was a young Okapi as she's smaller then the other two. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

Thanks Amy. I've run out of clay so I'll have to search for some more, the shop I buy it from has stopped selling it, I can only find 500g on the internet, when the packet I bought from the shop was 1kg. It's a lot more expensive on the internet for what you get. |
