I just bought the Schleich Wolverine

I just bought the Schleich Wolverine. i found it hard to find in stores and it was on my wish list for a while, but i found it today! Here is what it looks like:

How do you like him ?

This is probably the best wolverine ever made other the the Bullyland one. I am very happy to have received this piece considering i do not have many Schleich animals or wolverines.

Congratulation!! The wolverine was also my most wanted new schleicht this year!! But in germany it is not difficult to find- every toy-shop have schleich. Difficult to find is safari and papo, but in Dresden i know shops for this brands.

Congratulations Lance! Everybody know my opinion about the wolverine, is not an excelent figure, I think the European badger is better done, but is a fantastic species for a collector and I also have it in my collection!
...and as I know Safari never make it before! :)

is it not your favorite because of the coloring and it looks like a bear?

It is my favourite because is the only I know! I never saw the Bullyland, only in figures! I'm very proud of it!
The colouring is nice, there are some different choices in colouring and that's one of them, so that is a nice point. I'd loved to see a figure with more contrast in colours but it is absolutly a personal opinion. But you are right, is clearly closer done to a bear! They ressemble slightly bears but not as much as the Schleich does! I don't see nothing that makes me think in a mustelide! Cut the tail and you will see!
But it is a very nice choice as I told before!

It was one of my last purchases to...

Today I found the bullyland wolverine in a net-shop, - wow, my heart beat 300 beats pr. minute, - but when I clicked to buy it said "out of stock"

I HATE it when the shops don`t remove the things the don`t have and will never have again ggggrrr

But at least I could steal a copy of the picture

I also ''hunt'' for that wolverine! No luck so far it seems!

No idea... Bullyland doesn't have the year markings tradition...

I think it was in 2008. It is in the 2007-catalogue, but not in the 2008, as far as I can see
But it was probably not made for more than a couple of years..
Unfortunately I do not have that many catalogues...

Thanks Susanne and Mihnea! We need a Bullyland guide, it's easy to find years from Schleich but not from Bullyland, they have a museum why don't build a website about the figures? :)

I looked through my Bullyland catalogues for you.
It appears for the first time in the 2005 catalogue, and is already vanished in the 2007 catalogue...
So only made for 2 years, which clears up the fact, that it is quit rare...

Thanks Willy! It will be hard to find this wolverine with mustelide looking! :)

Try to look in the 2007-catalogue again, - page 28
