Haha, you never know. But I'm a bit stupid when it comes to bidding; once I've decided I want something I'm prepared to pay ridiculous amounts for it, even though it would be cheaper to get it from somewhere else.

Ha ha, ye, I have done that a few times to, and afterwards I could punch myself for it

Like when I bought the schleich eagle for 14euro And the week after, I found out that you could still buy it in shops for under 5euro

I was a bit mad then

Now I have a rule for bidding on tradera. If you can still buy it in shop, no bidding!

Here are the schleich animals I got in september;

Now i almost have all of the 2010 animals, finaly Only missing the grand danois and puppy.
I like al of them, the ostrich has a pretty dynamic pose, wich is unusual (but realy good) when it comes to schleich. The only thing I dont realy like is the mane on the andalusian mare. I mean, come on.. braids????


I also got a bunch of 2011 animals. The horses, hmm, well, not realy that impressed. They need to work a lot harder on the poses. Just compare these to the new colectA horses!!!
Especially the pinto yearling looks realy stiff and boring... not good.

The forest animals I like better. The foxes are realy good, even thou the eyes are a liitle bit wierd The badges are realy good, but my favorite must be the red deer. Love the pose


Also found a bayala. The horse is ok, but I cant say that they are good at doing humans, especially the face


And last but not least, three oldies. The young bull, the loong loong wanted pheasant and the german wirehaired

You are right about the horses, although they made very nice Dartmoor stallion this year. Which is in boring pose but still it wonderful figure. Akhal-teke is also nice. Donkey foal is extremely cute! Great additions !

Congratulations Anna! My favourites are the same as you, Red deer and badgers.
I'm not that impressed with the new Schleich horses either the knabstrupper is nice and Dartmoor as Ana said, but I'm not keen on any of the others.

Yes, the dartmoor is the best this year, when it comes to the horses. But like you say, still a very dull pose.

But i think schleich need to open there eyes and look around a little at the other brands. Most of the other brands (Ok, at least papo, bully and especially collectA) have MOVEMENT in their horses, wich most of the time makes them much more interesting.

This year, all of the schleich horses just stand there! Boring!!! Please please schleich, give us a little action! Otherwise, you are going to fall way behind the other brands!!

You are SO right !
Also, if they did not tell you, it would only be possible to determine the breeds from the colours

It is not only us, adult collectors, - the horsey girls that come here, are always thrilled about my new horse models, - except the ones from Schleich
- even if they call them all "Schleichorses"

Ha ha, yes places like this are very dangerous.
Every day you see new (and old) stuff you didnt even know existed that you realise you cant live without
